FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Our goal is to make the process as simple and foolproof as possible by providing you with everything you need. If you join a Bitesize by Casey workshop the icing will be pre-mixed to the perfect consistency for decorating and building so that you don't have to worry about sliding candy or walls that yell "TIMBERRRR!"

After your recieve a written offer, reply by email confirming that you accept the offer and provide your or your company’s billing details. Your booking becomes binding once the written offer has been accepted. You will then receive an invoice for the deposit.

A 50% deposit is payable by the deadline stated in your offer or invoice, normally no later than 14 days before the workshop. The remaining balance is invoiced after the workshop and is payable within 14 days.If you or your company cannot make advance payments, please let me know before confirming the booking so that alternative arrangements can be agreed in writing.

Final participant numbers must be confirmed no later than 14 days before the workshop. This allows me to order the correct number of gingerbread-house sets from our master baker, reserve the venue for your group, arrange any food and drinks included in your package, and prepare all decorating materials and equipment.Additional participants requested after this date are subject to availability. Reductions after the deadline and non-attendance do not reduce the booking price, as preparations and supplier orders will already have been made for the confirmed number.

Cancellations must be submitted by email.More than 14 days before the workshop: no cancellation charge, and any deposit paid will be refunded.14 days or less before the workshop: a cancellation charge of 50% of the agreed booking total applies. Any deposit paid will be credited against this charge.

You may request to move your workshop to another date. Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be agreed in writing. Additional or non-recoverable venue, catering, production or supplier costs may still apply.

If you have ordered a workshop package that includes food I will ensure our catering partners are informed of any dietary requirements for your booking. Please tell me about any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements no later than 14 days before your workshop date.Our gingerbread recipe is fixed as it is specifically formulated to be used as construction gingerbread.
